The Lore of Sentinel's Watch

In the Imperial age, the glory of the High Republic is but a foggy memory. The little history that has survived is nearly indistinguishable from legend, and one of the few tangible remnants proving that the golden era was more than just a dream, are a handful of decaying meditation chambers.

It is rumored that a Jedi may have hidden in one of these chambers when that fateful order was executed. Perhaps he chose to stand watch, wanting to preserve what remained of the order’s glory in this dark age. Given strength by the tattered memories of a resplendent past and a possible future, he dutifully stood as sole sentinel, his only ally a trusty lightsaber.

This weapon of hope is the first of its kind – an acid etched Korvus with sweeping curves and a streamlined silhouette that is reminiscent of gilded architecture. Its variable-length emitter sleeve was adorned with glyphs akin to ancient circuitry, those elements converging just above the removable crystal chamber to centrally frame the emblem of the Jedi Order. That same pattern is continued onto the switch sleeve, and is subsequently complimented at the pommel with curved geometry evocative of the meditation chamber's antique columns.

The silver and black surfaces of this saber were given a weathered finish, that bears the scars of time. Accentuating the details are gold retention screws, which are paired with an activation switch in a similar hue along with a brass Covertec wheel. All of these elements come together to mark the saber as a paragon of resilience and fortitude.

This relic is more than just a hilt, but a remnant of the flickering hope that the long night would be banished with a glorious dawn. It is a shining beacon from a bygone era, the instrument of a vigilant guard for a better future – which is why this saber is known as the “Sentinel’s Watch”.
