Bound by the Eternal Knot

Each custom acid etch project is always a new experience for us. Sometimes we are given the freehand to design whatever we like, while other times the client can be really specific on what he or she wants. In today's showcase, the client already knew exactly what she wanted, and it was our privilege to bring it to life.
From the moment we commenced discussions, it was very clear that this masterpiece had a singular design theme of Celtic origins. This was evident with the prevalent usage of stylized knots throughout the entire hilt.
If anyone were to pay close attention to the details, they would have noticed a variety of Celtic knot types. Starting from the bottom and near to the pommel, the Dara Knot is featured twice on opposing sides. Moving up to the switch area, the Sailor's Knot provides a detailed circumference around the main activation switch. And finally at the emitter is a single Trinity Knot that directs all attention to the most prominent element of this etching design; the Celtic Tree of Life.
Not seen in the images below but situated on the opposite side of the tree are some Futhorc runes that spells out the word 'INVICTUS', which is otherwise known as unconquerable. Similarly, more Furthorc runes are found framing the auxiliary switch that boldly proclaims "I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul".
Without a doubt, a green saber blade is the best choice to complete this amazing, one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
