Lord of the Rings-inspired custom neopixel lightsaber

In the days of old, in the time just before the Elves of Eriador took up arms against the Dark Lord, a legendary smith wrought marvels of unparalleled beauty and terrible power. Enchanted by that era, we ventured far, far from our usual galaxy to forge a piece plucked from the Second Age.

We chose the Daemos as our canvas, its distinctive claws forming a regal silhouette that lends itself naturally to Elven artistry. For the design, we adorned the silver sections of the hilt with an elegant, interwoven pattern reminiscent of resplendent Ñoldor armor. These sweeping motifs were carefully acid-etched into the body, an undertaking that made us feel like Celebrimbor at his forge.

When composing the colors, we imagined this hilt embodying the greatest treasures of the Free Peoples: a base of blackened Dwarven iron, encased in segments of silvery Mithril, and adorned with accents of gold – like the crown of the emitter claws and the Star of Eärendil shining from the Covertec band.

It is our tribute to that mesmerizing world of high fantasy, and to the timeless tale of light piercing the darkness. Only a name drawn from Quenya would suffice – and so we have christened the one saber to fight them all the “Elemmacil” – or as it is called in the common tongue of Adûni, the Star Sword.
