Close-up of Darth Vader-inspired custom neopixel lightsaber features a green blade and acid-etched Jedi Order symbols

Quite often when we think about custom acid etching, we imagine all the logos, symbols and words that we can have etched on the saber to make it uniquely ours. But sometimes using motifs and textures that enhances the features of the saber instead, can achieve some rather amazing and classy results.

This Skylar is one such example. The triangular texture at the base of the saber forms a perfect transition between the knurlings of the pommel with the diamond pattern right above it. At the switch area, the wave like pattern mimics the silhouette of the main activation switch while seemingly emphasizing the 'flow' direction of the saber itself. And finally at the emitter is the only logo on the saber which inevitably draws all attention to it. It is the symbol of the Jedi Order framed by a sunburst design that bears semblance to the other motifs below and thus forming a well balanced etching design.

Is this a master piece? Damn right it is!
