For the Next Generation

As a parent of two wonderful kids, for the longest time I have hoped for a custom saber that was small enough in size that it could easily be wielded by their small hands. Seeing that this was quite a niche, together with my team we decided to take this into our own hands.

The end result - introducing the 13th Sabertrio saber hilt that has been given the name, Aria.

In so many ways, Aria represents a stark departure from the rest of the Sabertrio line up. With a length of just 6" and an overall diameter of only 1.3", it is the shortest and smallest saber hilt ever made by us. While its functions and soundboard options (CFX & Proffie v3.9) remains the same, it has many significant differences from other Sabertrio saber hilts as follow:

- It fits a Neo Blade Mini which essentially shares the same outer diameter as Krosgaard's side blades, 7/8". It will be offered in 16", 20" and 24" blade length, and is suitable for up to medium dueling.

- To achieve its small size, Aria utilized a smaller all-in-one chassis system called the Shorto. It features a smaller 18500 battery with 1500 mAh 15A hi-discharge, while the Audio Chip Mini houses a Veco 22mm bass speaker. Aria is NOT compatible with the Sabertrio Power Core.

- For the first time, this hilt does not feature an AV activation switch. Instead, it utilizes a custom designed functioning switch box where the top three brass stripes are the activation switch, while the lower three brass stripes are the auxiliary switch.

- It is priced LOWER than the Arclyte where by a Neo Proffie Aria with a Neo Blade Mini would start at just USD349.

Indeed the Aria was designed for younglings, however it also function very well as a light and nimble shoto lightsaber for adults.

Developing this custom saber has really been an exciting endeavor as we push the boundaries of what we are capable off. Ultimately our hope is that with the Aria, families can finally enjoy their custom sabers together as they show their young ones the true ways of the Force. As the saying goes, a family that sabers together, stays together.
