Forged in Erebor

In today's custom acid etch showcase, we journey to Middle Earth and discover how a lightsaber would look like had it been forged by the dwarves of Erebor!
Initially we thought a Reaver would be the best canvas to work on for this theme, but we are glad that the owner selected the Vektra instead. The bordered design on the emitter, coupled with the side vertical windows, the light ring and the after burner slits somehow became so cohesive with the dwarven motifs that were etched throughout the entire saber. Speaking about the motifs, these designs were created with reference to the gauntlets of Thorin Oakenshield; the favorite character of this saber's owner.
To further distinguish this saber as dwarven made, we had the whole piece etched to give a textured finish which contrasted really well with the brushed motifs. The name of the owner can be found on the choke clearly etched in dwarven runes, indicating just how personal this weapon truly is.
