For fans of the galaxy far, far away…things are about to get a whole lot more exciting because Star Wars Celebration 2025 is literally just a month away! This time, the event takes place in the Land of the Rising Sun, and to mark such a momentous occasion, it would only be fitting that we craft a legendary saber that truly honors the celebration.

From the start, we envisioned this weapon to be a fusion of tradition and evolution, where ancient craftsmanship meets Jedi ideals. Starting at the emitter, a cherry blossom flower was etched within a full moon, representing fleeting beauty and the passage of time. The moon’s silhoutte enhances its delicate bloom, a quiet reminder of life’s impermanence. Surrounding it, Great Waves off Kanagawa depicted in ukiyo-e style, surges with movement and power—portraying a balance of serenity and strength.

It is strength and discipline that define the warrior’s path, and these were represented by the samurai armor-like monogram on the switch band that neighbored the hilt’s cream-colored leather wrap. Its tight weave mirrors the fabric of a warrior’s garb—neither pristine nor battle-worn, but rich with experience. And right below of it is the Covertec band which bears the Star Wars Celebration emblem itself, framed by the same monogram as above. Finally, the base features a Shimenawa-obi pattern, inspired by the rope-like belts used for securing armor.

Honor is carried, not just wielded. The saber’s surfaces were darkened through a chemical process to enhance the etched details, creating contrast without artificial aging. Bronze powder-coated accents add warmth, while the brass activation switch and Covertec wheel resemble the polished fittings of a samurai’s katana. At the pommel, a deep yellow Ornate Tassel Dark Edition pays homage to the sagemono once worn by samurai—a mark of status and tradition.

A tribute to resilience and hope, this saber unites echoes of the past with the guiding light of the present. For this, It is known as Sakuragane - (桜金) – the Gold Cherry Blossom.
