Pod racer engine custom neopixel white lightsaber inspired by Togruta species and planet Shili. Features star chart etchings and blue lekku stripes

The shifting currents of the Force are both life itself and that which surrounds it, dancing like flames one moment and flowing like water the next. For those who are sensitive to it, they would often find themselves amid cosmic struggles with their lightsabers acting as an extension of that profound link. While the galaxy is teeming with sentient beings, only some are truly able to harness the full potential of the Force, and among them are the Togrutas.

Hailing from the planet Shili that lies within the Expansion Region, the Togrutas have consistently been part of major galactic events with some of their people holding prominent roles within the Jedi Order itself. They are known to be fiercely protective of their home world and its surrounding moons, for all these were regarded as sacred to them.

In today’s feature, we set out to craft a legendary lightsaber that would truly personify the spirit and culture of the Togrutas. A unique variant of the Vektra, that has an integrated OLED screen, was chosen for this endeavor. We began by designing an intricate star chart-like motif with Shili at the center, and applied it to the emitter frames, switch section and Covertec wheel band of the hilt through acid etching. From there, we created yet another motif of which for this round, its designs were derived from the natural stripes found on the Togrutas’ lekku. These were applied to the main grip section, also through acid etching, before being accented in a rich blue zircon hue. The same blue was then powder coated onto the tip of the Vektra’s emitter as well as various protruding bands on the hilt to accentuate all of its design elements. As a final touch, we gave this saber a gold activation switch, brass Covertec wheel and gold screws.

There is no mistaking the heritage of this elegant weapon. It places the noble culture, the distinctive appearance, and the adventurous spirit of the Togruta at the center of it all. And because of that, this lightsaber henceforth was known as the ‘Caramendary’. It will be built in BOTH Neo CFX and Neo Proffie configuration in very limited quantities, and will be available for purchase on August 26th at 9am EDT.
