Next-Level Connectivity

The Power Core Chassis System is certainly one of the main highlights for this Black Friday. This is especially because it can swap between any Sabertrio hilt that has a Central Control Module (CCM). With just a single power core, you could then purchase any other Sabertrio hilt (with CCM in it) at a much lower price point, and enjoy it fully functioning.

Besides this and the hot-swappable speaker system that we spoke about in a few posts back, there are still MORE features that we want to share today.

While the 18650 battery can be easily swapped, the Power Core has been designed to charge the battery through its USB-C port at rate of 1A. To show the charging status, we have integrated a small status LED into the chassis that resides behind a piece of acrylic that has been wedged into the Delrin body. By machining both parts together, we have then formed a perfectly smooth surface that allows the LED's illumination to be properly diffused and be clearly visible.

The USB-C port also support data transfer and its location is highly accessible. Through the way it has been implemented, it is also significantly more durable than its soundboard mounted micro-USB counterpart of the Legacy Chassis System. Every Power Core comes with a bespoke USB charger (with optional socket heads) and 1-meter braided USB cable.

The Power Core is designed to be solid, and we've made special efforts to ensure that the soundboard in it is truly secured. By precisely mounting it from within, the soundboard has never been so elegantly held in place without the need for warranty stickers. Also through this, accessing the microSD card slot has never been easier and the risk of accidently sliding the microSD card itself underneath the soundboard is completely gone.

And finally, situated just above the positive terminal is a kill switch that is present on both CFX and Proffie Power Cores. This will ensure that when not in action, battery power is preserved and the chassis is really switched off (no unexpected sounds at night!).

All in all, we aim to delivery a product that is truly polished, and hope that we are closer to it with the Power Core Chassis System.
