Not All Who Wander

As we are currently offering another round of limited commission slots for MASTERPIECE by Sabertrio, we will be showcasing some of the remarkable pieces that we have crafted together with clients, in the past.
Our first spotlight combines two beloved universes – Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and Lucas’ Star Wars – in a way that manages to pay homage to both without being overly ostentatious.
The journey began with the client selecting the Mirah as their canvas, which is distinct for its gracefully curvy slanted emitter and vertical window slits. For the design, it was requested that we integrate two iconic symbols - the White Tree of Gondor and a poetic verse in Elvish script. Our team began their work by crafting a rendition of that mighty tree, where its ancient branches spreads all across the upper etchable portions of the hilt.
Next, we wrapped the Covertec band with the second line from the Riddle of Strider. It tells of how Aragon may have looked like an aimless vagabond, but that his journey did indeed have an ultimate destination. Just underneath it we placed the Seven Stars, an iconography widely used across Middle-Earth, and represents the Valacirca constellation.
For its overall finishing and color, the acid etched portions were weathered to lend it an aura of a relic, while the various bands across the hilt were accented with red powder coating. To complete this beautiful saber, we installed a matching red activation switch, a silver Covertec wheel, and wrapped the grip in genuine crimson Nappa leather.
The result of this process is a saber that gracefully bridges two epic sagas, and we hope that the client will treasures this piece for decades to come. May they find the gold that does not glitter, may their wandering path always keep true, and may they avoid wearing cursed jewelry.
