Star Wars-inspired custom neopixel yellow lightsaber features Ahch-To and the first Jedi Temple with gold accents and acid-etched aquatic motifs

With the next round of MASTERPIECE commissions approaching fast (February 10th), we are excited to present the final saber showcase for this chapter. Today we have a Vahlken that was brought to life through a collaborative customization process, a bespoke hilt that was forged into a testament of ancient wisdom and the Jedi’s connection to the world around them.

The owner graciously provided a set of detailed instructions, which immensely helped our team to fully realize his vision. We started its design with an aquatic pattern reminiscent of Ahch-To's vast ocean, distributing it evenly across select surfaces of this hilt. Beneath the switch band, we etched a mysterious couplet—part of an ancient code that speaks of the ultimate destination for those who walk the path.

Descending past the grip, the iconic symbol of the Jedi Order was placed opposite the Covertec wheel. It is a tribute to the eternal pursuit of balance, just like the serene Temple Island set against those turbulent seas. The design was completed on the pommel's studs; each one marked with an Aurebesh glyph, together spelling ‘Endure’ and personifying the resilience required of all Jedi Knights.

Next, we powder coated complimenting gold accents on both ends of the grip. To accomplish its ancient look, a combination of texturing and weathering was carefully applied to give this hilt an aged finish. We then installed a gold activation switch and a brass Covertec wheel, serving as the final touch to truly give this saber the appearance of an immortal relic.

Each intentionally chosen element of this custom hilt was forged into something more than just a weapon, but a MASTERPIECE of heritage and heroism. Bringing the owner's ambitious vision to life has been a fulfilling odyssey, and we hope that this saber illuminates the path on his future adventures.
