Relic of Kujet's Tomb

On this Christmas day, we continue our voyage through the galaxy to explore many exotic locations with the hope that we will find inspiration to forge yet another masterpiece. This has brought us to a rather sinister looking planet which was perpetually bathed in a blood-red shade from its local star. This is Dathomir.

Though widely known as the home of the Nightsisters & Nightbrothers, it was ultimately in a Zeffo tomb on the planet where we found our inspiration. This was the Tomb of Kujet and it was the fight arena's floor markings in particular that we would base this sabers etching designs upon.

Sitting prominently at the center was a fountain-like emblem that seamlessly flowed into rings that encapsulated it, with the outer ring's circumference accented by sharp double edged spikes at regular intervals. We took all these in and transformed it into a variant that deviated towards the grey side of the Force. We placed the entire design right at the center of the Vektra's main grip section and framed it elegantly with Zeffonians motifs that collectively formed a unique repeating striped design on the under side of hilt.

The fountain-like emblem, which has since become this saber's signature, is further found on both emitter frames of the Vektra in reverse etch. Similarly, the spiked ring is found around both switches and the Covertec wheel, greatly enhancing these otherwise rather utilitarian features. We then proceeded to etch every silver surfaces of the hilt before finally applying our manual weathering (V2) process to give this saber an ancient appearance. At the heart of this Vektra is the Crystal Focus X.
