Relic of the Fallen Order

Today, we jump back into showcasing some of the master pieces that we had the privilege of creating together with our customers. And, what better saber to start things off again with then one which features etching designs inspired by Star Wars : Jedi Fallen Order?

You most probably would have assumed this saber to be a Senza but no, it is a Vahlken instead. The owner of this master piece wanted the saber to reflect the visual identity and aesthetics of the game, and this is how we did it:

To achieve the feel, we designed and placed glyphs all over the saber but these are by no means randomly done. The circular designs are meant to mimic the animated star charts found in the menu system of the game. Also, you will notice that the glyphs tend to have a 'reversed' variant which is symbolic to light and dark....and the balance of it. At the side of the switch area, is the Jedi symbol.

To complete everything, we knew the saber had to resemble an ancient relic and what better way to achieve this then to have most of the saber etched for that glorious textured finish? Every bit of the saber was then meticulously hand polished with a bristled brush to round off any rough surfaces and bring out the dull shine of the all the etching designs.

Obviously, the saber's blade had to be blue. ;)
