Shan's Legacy

The galaxy remembers its ancient heroes through the lens of mythology, where legend and reality are so closely intertwined that it is often impossible to separate them. One of those fables has reverberated through history, and despite modern scholars debating its truthfulness, an honored heroine of old is still spoken of till this day – the stalwart Bastila Shan.

She was said to have fought with rare determination, holding her own against powerful foes and impossible odds. Even the darkness could not maintain its grip on her for long, and her grand restoration only bolstered her resolve. This story has inspired generations, and many artifacts have been crafted in honor of that heroine’s legacy.

This saber, is one such relic – forged by a scholar of that noble knight's lineage. The Senza was the chosen hilt, for its streamlined silhouette reflected the essence of that nimble warrior. At the top, the saber was adorned with armored shrouds to symbolize her strength, and they were then engraved with a design reminiscent of her unique attire. Just below, the pattern is continued on the switch band, where the geometry of her bodysuit flows around the elements.

Further down on the Covertec band, a chorus of lines flank the emblem of that old order, and together these intricate details rise triumphantly towards the grip to complete the design. Once everything had been meticulously acid etched onto the brushed metal, this lightsaber was colored a rich brass finishing that greatly contrasted the silvery side accents of the shroud, and similarly hued activation switch and OLED control box.

Every part of this hilt is crafted to mirror Bastila’s unique balance of power and grace. Forged as a tribute to her enduring spirit, this saber shall be forever known as “Shan’s Legacy”. It will be available THIS SATURDAY in the September RTS Drop on September 14th at 9am EDT.
