The Arachnid Vigilante

Across the city that never sleeps swings a tale of two extraordinary beings, each bound by fate to clash with the other. One is a beacon of courage and protection, while the other casts a dark untamed shadow brimming with alien power. Their saga has played out across the urban skylines, a dramatic battle of red and black, of hope and anarchy.

Inspired by their stories, we set out to create a saber that embodies these iconic adversaries. We began by choosing the Reaver for its elegant form that is contradicted by its aggressive claws—a fitting tribute to the webbed warrior and his menacing reflection. Next, we started the design process with some familiar glyphs that bear the title of the city’s guardian. On the switch section we placed a divided visage: one side the recognizably symmetrical web, and the other a chaotic and viscous net. The grip echoes this duality with half emblazoned with the hero's symbol, which is mirrored with a distorted testament to the symbiote’s invasive embrace.

We then carefully acid-etched the design into the brushed metal, making it as timeless as the story that inspired it. Sections of the hilt were then powder coated in that unmistakable red, with four of the six claws coated in a rich matching blue. The remaining exposed areas were done in our brushed silver black finish to compliment the ominous ebony of the etching.

This saber represents that tension between the talkative hopeful guardian and the morphing specter with an appetite for chaos and flesh. This is a blade for the bold, for the truly amazing, for the bearer who embodies the essence of both protector and menace. This is not simply your friendly neighborhood saber but rather, the “Arachnid Vigilante”.

This legendary saber will be built with the new Power Core chassis system in very limited quantities, and will be available for purchase on January 20th at 9am EST.
