The Calen Bythol

Beyond the storm-worn coasts of the northern isles, the land softens into pockets of open woodland — slender trunks rising in tight ranks, defying the unyielding winds that would otherwise flatten the terrain. Most of the year, these young trees stand quiet beneath gray skies, but when summer comes, the forests finally draw their breath and welcome the light with a warm embrace.

For it is said that “life turns with the seasons, but love, once true, is everlasting.” With these words anchoring our actions, we set out to craft a lightsaber that would give form to a love enduring far beyond the fleeting nature of the seasons. The Korvus, with its eternally glowing kyber crystal, was the chosen lightsaber hilt upon which perpetual etchings would be laid.

Perhaps the most striking part of this Legendary piece is the gleaming emitter shroud, polished to a brilliant mirrored finish that stands in stark contrast to the darker, weathered body below. Dominating its center is the Celtic Serch Bythol symbol, its interlocking lines forming the knot of unabating love. Around it, flowing Celtic patterns wrap the shroud in unbroken paths, catching and scattering the summer light that filtered through the living canopy.

Equally intricate knots are found throughout the other parts of the lightsaber, from the switch section sleeve to the highly detailed pommel, where leaflike forms and interwoven lines echo its Celtic heritage. Finally, select sections are meticulously powder coated in a natural brown hue, evoking the look and feel of worn leather and bringing a quiet warmth to an otherwise elegantly cold weapon.

This lightsaber is called Calen Bythol, which translates to the “Everlasting Heart.” Forged in honor of a love that holds fast through hardship and time, it stands as both weapon and testament that even as seasons turn and forests fade, some bonds shall remain unbroken.

This Legendary Saber is part of the Sabertrio Black Friday RTS Event, and it will be available for purchase on November 28th at 9 AM EST, in limited quantities.
