The Chromic Templar

Nestled deep within the Unknown Regions of the Galaxy, lies a world once sacred to the Jedi, but now serving a far more sinister purpose. For within this planet lie ancient caverns, the birthplace of kyber crystals—living force-attuned artifacts essential to the creation of a lightsaber. These crystals are now what powers the First Order’s planet destroying weapon known as the Starkiller.

Under the corrupting influence of a Dark Lord, it is almost certain that these kyber crystals would eventually bleed, shedding its once lustrous colours for a deep crimson hue. And with these being so easily accessible, it is also almost certain that an experimental lightsaber would have been forged, similar to the gleaming armor now worn by a particular captain of the First Order.

The schematics for this nefarious prototype was imagined to be based of the Senza, and its design began at the emitter shrouds where markings of the elite armor were prominently etched. From there, the entire hilt was adorned with an industrial-like pattern that was frequently found on all things manufactured by advanced Imperial technology—a chilling reminder of how far the First order had come. Its emblem, situated on the opposite side of the Covertec Wheel, removes all doubt of the oppressive intentions that this experimental saber was crafted for.

But the most dazzling part is its gleaming mirrored surfaces, a reminiscent of rare metal torn from the husk of a certain royal vessel. That shining silver was accented with segments of deep black, which was complemented with a crimson activation switch and a tactical black Covertec wheel.

This saber serves as a harbinger of terror that demands to be seen. It is a symbol of unyielding power; its shining silhouette the final image burned into the eyes of those foolish enough to stand against it. Although most of the details are classified, leaks found by the Resistance have indicated that this foreboding weapon is being referred to as the “Chromic Templar”. It will be available in the Sabertrio February RTS Drop that is happening THIS Saturday (February 24th) at 9am EST.
