The Crimson Void

It is said that this world was once the stronghold of the Sith Empire, where their immortal leader amassed such strength that he nearly burned the Old Republic to ash. Those who claim to have visited the planet speak of its endless network of ancient catacombs, some so deep that they were flooded with magma. Amongst the many foreboding secrets that these chambers held, one tells of a certain crimson lightsaber locked within the stone-hewn labyrinth - a relic of unknown origin and imbued with sinister potential.
That cryptic piece was forged from a Sologaard where the fiery glow of a blade can bleed through the emitter windows. For its design, there are rumors suggesting that its intricate etchings were actually channels for the dark side. It is believed that the rippling geometry on the switch band served as a resonant medium between the wielder’s hate and the hilt, allowing one to flow into the other. That raw power is then routed through pathways on the emitter and choke, which form ascending pyramids that focuses the wielder’s venomous hatred into the ruby-colored blade.
As for the hues of this malicious hilt, all prominent sections were doused in a gory red, which was done alongside striking sterling accents and a deep obsidian base. All these were then paired with a red activation switch and a silver Covertec wheel, which together completed a visage that could strike fear into a victim before the blade was even ignited.
While Dromund Kaas is lost to the gaping abyss of uncharted space, some fear that this grim artifact has escaped its entombment – they say you can still sense its presence in your dreams. In a haze of blood it was forged and through shadows it wanders, which is why only a few living souls know it as the “Crimson Void”. It will be available in the Sabertrio July RTS Drop that is happening this coming Saturday, July 27th at 9am EDT.
