The Glacial Gleam

In a realm where four nations once lived together in harmony, there swirls a tale as ancient and deep as the ocean from which it surfaced. It is a story full of explosive warfare, powerful adversaries and unbreakable bonds. Drawing inspiration from the aquatic element and those connected to it, we set out to forge a hilt that embodied the spirit and rich traditions of the Water Tribe.

Our canvas of choice was the Aeryn, and we began the design just above the brass choke with our rendition of the revered Moon and Ocean Spirits. Together, Tui and La swim eternal, maintaining a constant balance of push and pull. Just opposite, we placed the iconic symbol of the element itself, and flanked it with a pair of familiar characters.

Next, we wrapped the switch band in a pattern of rolling waves, a reminder of how you must learn not to fight against the current, but flow with it. Further down, the lower half of the grip section features the Seigaiha pattern with Koizilla rising above the Covertec wheel, our homage to when the Avatar achieved unity with the Ocean Spirit to wash away the Fire Nation.

To truly capture the radiance of that monstrous entity and the heightened state that facilitated it, we have carefully powder coated the emitter, all etched surfaces and the Covertec wheel in a light ethereal blue. It is a special UV-reactive paint, making this our first saber to have a glow that goes beyond the blade. The remaining surfaces were coated in a complimenting dark blue that is reminiscent of the ocean depths, and this hilt was completed with a brass activation switch.

This saber is not just a weapon, but a tribute to the enduring legacy of the Water Tribe. Its design serves to remind the wielder of that ancient technique – an art that uses an opponent's strength against them, transforming a sturdy defense into a powerful offense. Shining with an otherworldly aura and bearing the appearance of being forged from tides and ice, this saber will forever shine as the "Glacial Gleam". It will be available in the RTS drop happening this coming February 24th at 9am EST.
