The Herald of Hope

The era of the High Republic was marked with a multitude of achievements ranging from the opulence of Starlight Beacon to the many new outposts across the Outer Rim. But perhaps none were more enduring than the newly charted hyperspace routes, allowing once isolated settlements access to the growing galactic community. Unity however, did not always sprout so easily, and it often required the wisdom of a Jedi Master to ensure that peace prevailed.
Legends tell of one such individual who roamed the stars with little more than his wits and a lightsaber - its hilt finely etched in a manner evocative of his distinguished rank. It exhibits the superior craftsmanship of that era, a weapon wielded only as a last resort, and always with unfaltering precision.
This elegant hilt is an Aeryn, its design epitomizing a Jedi's commitment to form and function. The intricate etchings began at the emitter, where it was ringed with small curling vines, each representing a budding seed of hope. Just below that, a row of iconic symbols marked its wielder as an ambassador of the Republic, while under the thin-neck choke, the switch band was encased in a motif of stretching flora, serving as a reminder of the growth achieved and the cultivation still required.
Next, the lower section of the grip was lined with ornate columns, showcasing the strength of united communities. The design concludes at the pommel, where the emblem of Ashla was etched in alternating styles, a reminder for its wielder to always champion the light. For its color, this hilt was finished in a luminous silver which was then contrasted with deep black accents and a matte gold hue on the grenade grip. Finally, this hilt was given a gold activation switch and brass Covertec wheel, both accessories equally pragmatic and opulent.
As the galaxy bloomed into an era of interconnectedness, this saber is a testament to the tireless efforts of those who forged paths of concord across the stars. Destined to be wielded by those bearing the promise of a brighter tomorrow, this saber is known as the “Herald of Hope”. It will be available in the April RTS drop that is happening this Saturday (April 13th) at 9am EDT.
