The Light of the Evenstar

This March 25th will see the return of Custom Acid Etch sabers. There will be a total of 50 slots available and in anticipating for it, lets take a look at yet another masterpiece that we have worked on recently.
Today, we once again return to Middle Earth where the objective is simple; to create an epic Lord of the Rings custom saber. Vektra was the chosen hilt for this project and we were given a complete free hand on what the etchings would be. Not wanting to create something illogical, we decided to focus on a single theme to ensure the entire saber had a coherent design.
After some discussions with the owner, we ultimately went with a theme that represented Aragorn himself. His love for Arwen is center to his character, and we embodied that through etching the Evenstar boldly on both sides of the emitter sleeve. The elven-influence continues on the other end of the saber where the words 'estel', 'nilme' and 'mileth', which translates to hope, friendship and love, are reversed etched in Sindarin just right above the triple bands.
The main grip section focuses on Aragorn's lineage with the White Tree of Gondor prominently etched right in the center. But perhaps what is even more iconic, is Narsil, the long sword of King Elendil, taking center stage on the opposite side of the grip. In a strange way, this almost implies that this saber is a modern reincarnation of Anduril.
And finally, flanking both switches are sea bird wings that are heavily inspired by the motifs found on Gondorian armor.
"If by life or death I can protect you, I will. You have my sword."
