The Neo Sologaard Obsidian Dark

The unity of pristine and weathered in the Obsidian finish continues to bring out a fresh facade on our lightsabers. For our upcoming May the 4th RTS event, we chose to apply this striking contrast to the Sologaard.

With its vented emitter and complex pommel, the Sologaard is already an inherently detailed saber hilt. To draw out those intricacies, we deliberately selected specific elements to mirror-polish.

At the top, three polished silver bands crown the vented emitter. Moving down, a single bright ring marks the raised edge just above the switch section. And that same treatment extends to the rectangular segments flanking the switches. Further down, of the four elevated ridges above the main grip, we chose the two middle ones to frame the choke point. Finally, the recessed surfaces under the pommel claws shine in silver from beneath.

These gleaming accents draw the eye directly into the complexity of the Sologaard, introducing just enough contrast without overwhelming its smooth, naturally worn exterior.
