The Ori'manda

From the sunbaked dunes of Tatooine to the frozen wastes of Maldo Kreis, few bounty hunters have walked the galaxy's treacherous underworld quite like Din Djarin. He is the quintessential reluctant hero – a man of few words and decisive action, who redefined what it means to be an adoptive dad, and always knows the Way yet somehow manages to get sidetracked with sidequests every second step.
We genuinely admire that beskar-clad warrior, and with the highly-anticipated movie approaching fast, we felt this was the perfect opportunity to craft a Legendary lightsaber inspired by that famed Mandalorian. We chose the Solarien as our canvas and began the design on the switch sleeves, where we applied rigid motifs reminiscent of his iconic armor. That composition continues on the switch band, which then flows down onto the grip sleeve and is anchored with complementary armor plating.
The design was carefully acid-etched into the metal, a process worlds apart from beskar forging, yet no less satisfying. For its color, this saber hilt was clad in silver and stark black, reflecting the striking yet clean aesthetic of that Mandalorian's upgraded armor. Finally, we meticulously weathered the surface to give it a subtle historical gravitas, and completed this piece with a mirrored Covertec wheel and matching blade plug.
This lightsaber was built for everyone who, like us, sees the best of human nature in Din Djarin – a man who must constantly choose between what is right and what is easy, and who always, somehow, fights his way back to the Way. It felt only right that a saber born of such unyielding conviction carry a name to match, which is why we have christened this piece the “Ori'manda” – otherwise known in Basic as the “Mighty Mandalorian”.
