Pod racer engine-inspired custom neopixel green lightsaber features black finish, caution tape accents, industrial texture grip and red switch

We would like to bring you back to that cult classic – when all that stood between humanity and spectral subjugation was a rag-tag team wielding unsanctioned nuclear accelerators. Many of us brought home the toys from that ghostly franchise, those figurines adding to the ranks of our injection-molded multiverse. And when it was time to play, the lines between those stories blurred, and accessories intended for one could easily end up in the static grip of another.

That is why we wanted to create this saber - as more than just a tribute to those unlikely heroes in beige overalls, but also a homage to the creativity those stories and toys helped shape. We chose the Vektra for this piece, its engine-like ends emulating the practical construction of ghost-busting tech. The design began at the emitter, where we placed a mechanical motif reminiscent of the proton pack’s internals, which was then continued around the switches to lend it the aesthetics of retro toggles. Further down, we wrapped the grip with an industrial texture, ensuring a firm hold when fighting ghastly ghouls.

We then used precision acid etching to meld the designs into the metal, and then carefully powder coated the majority of this hilt in a dark metallic black to replicate the sturdy frame of that iconic pack. And as our nod to the classic ghost traps, we coated the choke and control box in a vibrant yellow, then wrapped the Covertec band with a caution tape pattern. To finish this phantastic saber, we installed a red activation switch and a silver Covertec wheel.

You might be wondering how a Ghostbuster would use a saber, but like in those hours spent mixing figures from our favorite franchises, we believe that the answer is simple – because it just looks freaking cool! This ectoplasmic obliterator has now manifested in all its ghastly glory, and shall be eternally eternally known as the “Polterslice”. It will be available in the April RTS drop that is happening this Saturday (April 13th) at 9am EDT.

So if there's something strange in your neighborhood, what are you gonna wield?
