The Rendspire

This is Rendspire — a Masterpiece Sologaard and the personal lightsaber of Esther, a member of Sabertrio’s official cosplay group.

It is no secret: the Dark Side is strong with this one, and that has granted us much more creative freedom in designing her outfit. Much like Darth Talon, Esther’s ensemble favors style over protection and intimidation over subtlety.

With a full black color palette, we employed a variety of materials — including spandex, polyurethane leather, and corded velour — to bring out the intricate details of her costume. As for her silhouette, we made it even more imposing with custom-designed EVA foam armor pieces, mostly featuring LED accents, and outfitted them across her limbs and right shoulder.

Everything was then strapped together with premium genuine leather, meticulously crafted by none other than @magmelcreations. A custom-sized leather pouch and 3D-printed belt accessories complete the concept we envisioned — a bold, formidable Sith warrior.

Esther’s saber is a Sologaard that draws heavy inspiration from the armor patterns of warriors from the Old Republic era. Armor-plating seams meander throughout the entire hilt, making an already detailed saber even more intricate. Contrasting with the cold silvery tone of the aluminum are accents in striking red — on the top emitter, the activation switch, and a band just below the choke.

Having bled her kyber crystal long ago, this weapon embodies her passion for power at all costs. It does not hesitate to rend its opponents to shreds to achieve victory — and for this reason, the lightsaber bears the name "Rendspire".

This Legendary Saber will be available as part of Sabertrio’s May the 4th Event, launching on May 4th at 9AM EDT.
