Exposed Kyber crystal custom neopixel lightsaber features aurodium finish with sunburst sigil on the emitter, and a purple blade

With all the Legendary Sabers that we have crafted over the years, it’s clear that not only do we love Star Wars, but we are also passionate fans of movies, series, anime, and especially video games. Though countless choices exist these days, there are only rare moments when one would truly shine — one that moves us so deeply, it will always hold a place in our hearts and minds.

The most recent example of this would be Clair Obscure: Expedition 33.

Having finished the game multiple times on NG+, we knew that we absolutely HAD to make a lightsaber that was vividly inspired by the canvas world of Lumière. But to truly capture the beautiful intricacies of Clair Obscure’s Belle Époque setting, we really had to push the boundaries of our crafting capabilities.

What you see here today is the culmination of countless revisions over the past few months. The canvas from which we ‘painted’ this weapon was the unique knurled variant of the Korvus. Across its entire body, every exposed surface was meticulously reverse-etched with elaborate geometric motifs, directly derived from Maelle’s ornate shoulder mantle. The textured recesses were finished in matte black, creating a striking contrast against its embossed counterparts that were all accentuated in weathered aurodium.

Yet, the true crown of this design is the sunburst sigil that dominates the saber’s emitter. Radiating from the exposed violet Kyber crystal, its rays mirror the grandeur of Medalum’s ornamental hand guard.

And finally, etched onto the Covertec band, lies the iconic number 33 — rendered in the very font we have all come to recognize. A subtle yet unmistakable mark, suggesting that perhaps this saber was once part of the ‘Disaster Expedition’.

This is Sabre Virtuose — our homage to the masterpiece that is Clair Obscure: Expedition 33, and a weapon we imagine could one-shot any boss in that surreal world.

Only 32 of this Legendary Saber will be available for purchase on August 30th at 9 AM EDT. The 33rd piece is reserved — because if Sandfall Interactive ever comments on this post, that saber will go straight to them.
