If your friend is barely clinging on to life, how would you treat them? Do you patiently watch them bleed out as you wait for bacta? No, because when you are in a crisis, waiting is utterly intolerable – you are compelled to do whatever is in your power to save them, even if that means taking drastic action.

That friend is the galaxy itself, and our benevolent emperor is the one who has taken the necessary steps to begin purging the infection.

Some are uncertain of his noble crusade – many of you have fallen further into the gutter, spaceport hijacking has increased dramatically, and foreigners flood your cities to reap the benefits of programs meant to enrich you. But those doubters are willfully blind to the painfully obvious source of your suffering – the Jedi.

Those self-righteous warlords greedily gut credits from long-standing institutions and claim that they do so in the name of charity, all while pocketing the money. If these secretive programs really helped the impoverished, then why have you not seen a single credit? If they are meant to be arbiters of justice, why does crime run rampant? If they exist to serve the galaxy, why do they covertly elevate outsiders at the expense of rightful residents?

Because, despite the emperor’s overwhelming victories, this virus has tucked itself into the darkest corners of your communities, and it is from there that they do their vile work. It is your duty to help us amputate this plague from among you, so we urge you to report any and all suspicious activity to your local imperial outpost so a thorough investigation can be swiftly executed.

As an Inquisitor, I have dedicated my life to serving you, and bringing true balance back to the galaxy. For I am persistent as a serpent – and they shall soon feel the sting of my “Scarlet Fang”.
