The Shadow of Gahenn

There are few planets with a more devastating history than Mustafar. Once lush and abounding with life, abuse of the dark side has since transformed it into a lava-soaked wasteland. And although the entire surface hums with darkness, the plains of Gahenn serve as a locus for those corrupting energies, and at its heart stands an unmistakable monolithic fortress.

It is a menacing edifice, perched upon a potent nexus of darkness, and a beacon of unnatural power. It echoes with the ambitions of those who sought to mould the chaos and serves as a reminder of the relentless pursuit to bend the dark will.

This is a weapon forged within that eclipsing monolith, a union of the ancient and new joined over the millennia by this black maelstrom. The hilt used for this was the Skylar, its sleek profile mirroring the brutalist fortress from whence it came while the emitter embodies the motifs of the outer walls. Lower down the hilt, the switch area was then encircled with patterns and symbols found at the mysterious ancient gateway that some say marks the boundary between realms. And finally, the hilt's base draws upon the fortress’s stark geometrical lines.

All these were acid etched onto the brushed metal of the saber, the stony coloration of the emitter, switch band and pommel making it appear as if the designs were carved into cold marble. From there, the remainder of the hilt was subjected to an intense heat source that formed a beautiful, charred gradient that, as if touched by lava itself, scorched the choke points and grip area of the Skylar.

The essence of this saber symbolizes the eternal conflict endemic to those who draw upon that deep well of darkness. Here, the ancient melds with the vision of a newer age—casting its corrupting presence over a plain seared by flame and fury. That is why this saber is called the “Shadow of Gahenn”.

This legendary saber will be built in BOTH Neo CFX and Neo Proffie configuration in very limited quantities, and will be available for purchase on November 24th (Black Friday) at 9am EST. This is a Black Friday Special (BFS) saber with a lead time of 6 weeks from order confirmation.
