The Sith Shogun

Our journey to showcase all recent acid etch masterpieces brings us today to ancient feudal Japan. It was an age of chaos where supreme military leaders and feudal lords called Shoguns, warred with each other. Military might essentially dictated who would rule the lands.
And so it came with no surprise that when we were tasked to design a saber worthy for a Shogun, the owner had requested for the Code of the Sith to be etched on the handle. It is through strength that one gains power, isn't it?
Moving on to the switch area are four dragons representing balance, freedom, wisdom and luck. Despite hidden by the center black band, we made sure the dragon's feet had only three toes each, as this indicates its true origins.
The final etching details are at the choke of the saber. Meticulously etched on all three segments is the name of the saber's owner.
When conceptualizing this saber, we imagined it being forged traditionally with fire. As such to capture the essence of that, we had the claws of the saber brushed silver and plain etched all exposed aluminium surfaces to create a raw, hand forged textured look.
We spent a tremendous amount of time for the creation of this saber and seeing how it has finally turned out, we know every second was worth it. This truly is a masterpiece.
