The Sojourner's Reach

Throughout the galaxy were many places of spiritual significance in the Force. However, one particular moon located within the galaxy's mid rim that was known for its harsh climates, vast deserts and violent sand storms, truly stood out. That place is Jedha, and it was so special that it became a world of worship for any who believed in the Force, and was often a very important destination for religious pilgrimage.

It is said that Jedha was the spiritual home of the Jedi Order, and beneath the moon's sandstone crust were rich deposits of kyber crystals that were famed for producing focused, potent blades. Many Jedi would embark on a spiritual journey to this place, seeking knowledge, self-discovery, a deeper connection with the Force, and to forge a lightsaber which is exactly what we are doing right now.

For this very special piece, we chose the Vektra and wanted it to truly reflect the ruggedness of Jedha. To achieve this, we began by creating a bespoke design that was inspired by the many elements found on the Kyber Temple and within Pilgrim's Sanctuary. This non-repeating design was applied to the entire hilt through an acid etching process that gave the saber a somewhat salvaged appearance.

We then further accentuated the finish by powder coating the whole piece in a dark grey hue which mimicked the graphite material. From there, we hand wrapped the main grip section with a natural brown strip of genuine Nappa leather before finally accenting the hilt with a brass Covertec wheel and gold activation switch.

To us, this legendary lightsaber symbolizes the culmination of experiences, revelations and personal growth attained from embarking on such an significant spiritual journey. And for that, we have named this Vektra the 'Sojourner's Reach'. It will be built in BOTH Neo CFX & Neo Proffie configuration in very limited quantities, and will be available for purchase on June 17th at 9am EDT.
