The Stellardawn

This is the Stellardawn – a Masterpiece Reaver and the personal lightsaber of Panda, who is part of Sabertrio's official cosplay group.

The design of her outfit represents a blend of modern oriental fashion with subtle medieval influences, all while maintaining recognizable Jedi aesthetics. To start, we tailored a blue crop top with an asymmetrical placket to mimic the style of oriental garments, and underneath it is a modified form-fitting scapula that takes inspiration from the virtuous strength of a Paladin. For the outer layer, we designed a bolero jacket that seamlessly transitions into a pair of half-finger leather gauntlets, and completed the outfit with a matching set of thigh-strapped greaves.

Panda’s saber is a Reaver, and the core of its design is centered around the main grip section. On the side above the Covertec wheel, it features an emblem composed of fiery rising wings, which is the same motif featured on the front flap of Panda’s scapula. The opposite side was emblazoned with an enigmatic pattern reminiscent of an ornate dagger, that was oriented downwards in contrast to the ascending phoenix to create a sense of push and pull – epitomizing the constant tension between opposing forces that must be maintained to truly find balance.

After everything had been carefully acid etched into the metal, we gave this hilt a bronze powder coat and paired that with vibrant blue accents on the bottom of the pommel and around the upper choke. Finally, this piece was completed with matte gold claws, a matching activation switch, and a brass Covertec wheel.

This saber is both a symbol of justice and a representation of the timeless ideals of that noble Order. Its purple blade embodies the first light that pierces through the unrelenting night, bringing peace and hope wherever it shines – and for that, it has since been recognized as the “Stellardawn”.
