Cal Kestis-inspired custom neopixel lightsaber features a tarnished finish, bronze grip, and a white blade

Amongst the many Jedi temples dotted around the galaxy, there were some that truly stood out. One such example was the Lothal Jedi Temple that was built into an ancient and megalithic natural stone spire. With caverns sprawling beneath, it became a pilgrimage destination for Jedi Masters and Padawans to strengthen & test their bonds. But unknown to many was that it also contained the gateway to the World Between Worlds.

This mythical plane, served as a collection of doors and pathways existing between time and space, linking all moments in time together. It is said that whoever could access the World Between Worlds, could potentially rewrite galactic history. With such immense power to be had, it is no wonder that the main spire of the Temple, was constructed with the ability to bury itself deep within the ground and prevent any access to it.

Being an ancient Jedi Temple, we would like to believe that the portal was not the only thing to be buried and sealed away. In today’s showcase, we wanted to explore the possibility that an ancient lightsaber was also locked deep within the temple and envision how exactly it would look like.

For this, the Senza was the chosen hilt and we began by creating an intricate etching design that was inspired by the painting of the Mortis gods and illustrations of the Chain Worlds Theorem. Throughout the saber, swooping lines contrasted with circular shapes are found to be accentuating the many elements of the Senza while prominently etched at the center of each shroud is the emblem of the Jedi Order.

Because this saber was meant to be an artifact, we subjected the entire hilt to a chemical process that tarnished all exposed surfaces of the saber. This has further darkened the textured acid etch areas to give the weapon a weathered appearance. And finally, we powder coated the grip section in a sateen bronze hue that not only added color to the saber, but also enforced its representation as a weapon of the Jedi.

This legendary saber is called the “Temporal Echo” and it will be built in BOTH Neo CFX & Neo Proffie configuration, in very limited quantities. It will be available for purchase this May the 4th at 9am EDT.
