The Valoris

This is the Valoris – a Masterpiece Korvus and the personal lightsaber of Ariff, who is an upcoming member of Sabertrio’s official cosplay group.

His outfit was designed to straddle the line between Canon and Legends by paying homage to a certain adventurous nomad, all the while adding our own subtle spin. Central to this is the hooded poncho which was tailored exclusively for the project, and is held in place by leather underarm straps.

Accentuating the entire outfit are bespoke genuine leather braces, shin guards, and a guardian belt – all tanned to a rich mahogany hue that contrasts well with his tunic. These high-quality leather accessories were handcrafted by our good friends over at Adegan’s Armory, who are the official Sabertrio distributors in France.

Ariff's saber is the Korvus, and the design began at the top, where we wrapped the entire emitter in an intricate web of exposed circuitry and ancient glyphs. Those lines coalesce above the exposed crystal chamber, surrounding a circular symbol that pays homage to our primary source of inspiration. That theme carries across the rest of this hilt in small, carefully-crafted details that we want you to discover for yourself. To reflect the many misadventures this saber has gone through, we gave it a battleworn finish that frames the emerald band below the main grip section.

This saber and outfit represent our heartfelt homage to the epic stories of past Legends, the incredible experiences of current Canon, and our earnest hope that the future of that galaxy far, far away is just as bright. This weapon embodies the resilience and determination of a true hero, which is why it bears the name “Valoris”.
