Tranquil Resonance

Over the eastern horizon where the sun rises is a realm steeped in mystical wonders and ancient traditions. As the first golden ray pierces through the mist-covered mountains, it reveals a lush landscape filled with emerald-green rice paddies, meandering rivers, open valleys, and dense forests. It is a place that is beautiful and bountiful, but also tenuous from being threatened by many vying to claim it as their own.

For generations, the constant need to safeguard their homeland has shaped the people of this mystic place into a tenacious and resolute society. Where they lack in numbers, they make up with their deep sense of honour, discipline, and bravery. It is here that ‘The Way of the Warrior’ was forged and became integral to their tradition.

Through the many teachings of this code, there is a believe that “true strength resides in tranquillity”, and it is with these words in our hearts that we set out to craft our final showcase for July. We wanted this saber to truly reflect the heritage of the people and believed that the Mirah was the most suitable for it.

Starting from the top, we began our motif creation process where a single lotus, symbolic to inner peace and spiritual enlightenment, was placed at the center of the saber’s emitter. From there, we expounded on the wavy elements of the lotus and applied it across the hilt as a representation of flowing water. With the motif now completed, we proceeded to acid etched it permanently to the Mirah followed by powder coating the entire saber in a dark graphite tone that mimicked hardened steel. We then accented the design by further powder coating the numerous bands of the hilt in a matte gold finish, before finally wrapping the main grip section with a genuine ivory colored leather strap.

This is a weapon of a true mythic warrior and by wielding it, one is embracing a symphony of silence to unleash an orchestra of power. For that, we call this lightsaber “静響”(Seikyō), which loosely translates to “Tranquil Resonance”. This saber will be built in BOTH Neo CFX and Neo Proffie configuration in very limited quantities. It will be available for purchase on July 22nd at 9am EDT.
