Tythonian Vindicator

Near the heart of the known Galaxy lies a verdant world that is incredibly rich in the Force. Though now uninhabited, this planet once held great significance for it was the place that saw the beginning of what would eventually become the Jedi Order. It was here during the Old Republic era that generations of Jedi were trained in hopes of restoring balance to the Force and bringing peace & justice to the galaxy. This is Tython, and today’s showcase was meticulously crafted to embody the Order’s origins from this ancient site.
The Jedi are the most notable practitioners of the light in the galaxy, and we felt that it was essential to strongly represent this trait visually on the Senza. To achieve that, we began by submerging the entire hilt into a specially formulated chemical solution that was able to strip the anodize areas in a uniform manner while preserving the integrity and texture of the aluminum surfaces. From there, we refinished the saber through a combination of manual brushing and sand blasting to achieve a highly pristine and silvery matte appearance that symbolizes the purity of the light.
Taking inspiration from the many motives found within the Jedi Temple of Tython, we continued with the process of painstakingly wrapping the entire hilt using precisely plotted decals. Once done, the hilt was then submerged for the second time, with the only difference being that this round’s formula is derived from acid that would ultimately etch a beautiful intricate vinelike design onto the Senza’s covertech wheel section, middle band and switch area.
The same captivating pattern continues onto the pair of shrouds where nestled at the center of each piece is the emblem of the Jedi Order of the Old Republic. This truly is the weapon of the galaxy’s legendary protectors who seeks to bring peace and justice at any cost. It is through this, that this lightsaber has earned its name as the ‘Tythonian Vindicator’.
This legendary saber will be built in the Neo Proffie configuration and limited units of it will be available for purchase this Saturday at 9am EDT.
