The Lore of Rushen Vath
Centuries after the fall of the Sith Triumvirate, there were still some who worshipped the one who would not die. In secret, a cult within the Baran Do, sought to join the Sith through their perverse use of the Force.
Operating from an ancient Baran Do monastery, it was said that the cultists offered countless sacrifices in the name of the Lord of Pain, hoping to reincarnate his hatred that bound flesh together. And from their devotion came a weapon, hammered and carved in ritual — a vessel for the hatred that defied death itself, born in the image of Darth Sion.
The most striking feature of this dreaded lightsaber is the scale-like texture that covers nearly every surface of its hilt—an organic pattern reminiscent of the fragmented flesh of the lord they worshipped. The deep bronze hue applied to these plates mirrored the color of the garb he was most often seen in, completing the likeness of their grim effigy.
At the switch section lies an irregular patch of exposed metal, its gleaming surface sharply contrasting the bronze scales that surround it while drawing the eye to the circular frame around the activation switch. This gleaming segment is complemented by the covertec wheel band, upon which the Sith emblem is prominently etched—flanked by yet more visceral patterns that carry the same dreadful artistry throughout the hilt.
It is evident that this weapon has claimed many lives and witnessed countless battles, for from its emitter claws to its pommel, every surface bears the marks of relentless use. Blackened marks dot the hilt, dulling the bronze sheen and hinting at the long, unbroken history of combat it has endured.
In time, the weapon’s legacy spread through whispered accounts of the devastation it left behind. Its name endured in fear and reverence alike—Rushen Vath, the Eternal Wound—a title born not from ceremony, but from the scar it left upon every field it touched.
