The process for inserting/removing a Neo Blade and a Neo Blade Mini is identical.
Step 1
Insert the PCB connector end of the Neo Blade into your Neo Saber’s emitter.
Notice
If the blade does not slide in fully, the retention screw might be in the way. Remove the blade, use the provided hex key to loosen the screw, and try again.
If you cannot insert the blade at all, ensure that there is no blade plug already installed inside your saber's emitter.
Step 2
The Neo Blade's PCB connector interfaces with spring-loaded pins. Hold the blade down in place while tightening the blade retention screw to ensure a secure connection.
Warning
Do not overtighten. Too much pressure might crack the blade or strip the retention screw.
Tightening the blade retention screw should be done gradually. Test by gripping the blade and gently twisting it. If the blade does not move, the screw is tight enough.
Removing a Neo Blade
Hold the saber upright and loosen the blade retention screw until the blade can be easily removed.
Attaching a Stunt Blade
Step 1
With the blade’s tip angled down, remove the dust cap. This is to prevent the loose (unglued) roll of diffusion film from sliding out.
Notice
If the diffusion film slides out, roll it tight enough so that it can slide back into the blade with no resistance. Once fully inserted, unroll it until it is firmly pressed against the inner walls of the Stunt Blade.
The reason for not securing the roll of diffusion film is to give it more flexibility during dueling. Doing this reduces wrinkles from forming on the film.
Step 2
Insert the open end of the Stunt Blade fully into your Stunt Saber’s emitter.

If you cannot insert the blade at all, ensure that there is no blade plug already installed inside your saber's emitter.
Step 3
Hold the blade in place while tightening the blade retention screw.
Warning
Do not overtighten. Too much pressure might crack the blade or strip the retention screw.
Tightening the blade retention screw should be done gradually. Test by gripping the blade and gently twisting it. If the blade does not move, the screw is tight enough.
Removing a Stunt Blade
With the blade’s tip angled down, loosen the retention screw until you can easily remove the Stunt Blade. Secure the dust cap back onto the blade's open end to ensure the diffusion film remains in place and to prevent dirt from entering.
Warning
The Stunt Blade uses base lit Cree XP-E2 LEDs – an extremely bright CLASS 2 laser.
Never look directly at the LED when it is illuminated as doing so could result in permanent eye damage.
If you intend to frequently use your FX/Stunt Saber without a blade, we strongly recommend purchasing a blade plug which acts as a light diffuser when installed.
