Blade Profiles - Neo CFX Saber

The Sabertrio Neo CFX Saber Preconfiguration has 10 blade profiles that can be found in the config.txt file of your saber's microSD card, and all of them have been specially optimized for Sabertrio Neo Blades.

The best way to understand how Blade Profiles work is to play around with them, so we recommend experimenting via the Blade Profiles menu that can be accessed while your saber's blade is ignited.

Blade Styles - Neo Proffie Saber

If you selected Fett263's preconfiguration or reflash your ProffieBoard's microSD card to that preconfiguration, you can find instructions for how to change your ProffieBoard's blade style as well as a library of styles at the links below.

You will need to edit the code of your Neo Proffie Saber to change your blade styles in the config.txt file, so if you have not set up your computer for that yet go to the 'Setting up for Proffie' page to learn how.

All of ProffieBoard's blade styles are hard-coded into each individual sound font, so the easiest way to change a sound font's blade style is to copy-and-paste the code from one sound font to another.

In the example below we show what it would look like to copy a blade style from 1-SABERTRIO to 18-TYTHONIAN_CRYSTAL, but the process is the same for all Neo Proffie Saber sound fonts.

STEP 1

Find the 1-SABERTRIO segment of code.

Select and copy the whole segment of code from “1-SABERTRIO;common” to "StylePtr(), “Sabertrio”},” as shown below.

If your saber is a Krosgaard, there is an additional segment of code for the quillon blades that you will need to copy as well.

STEP 2

Locate the section of code for 18-TYTHONIAN_CRYSTAL (it should have an identical structure to the 1-SABERTRIO code) and replace its style code with the one you copied.

If your saber is a Krosgaard, ensure that you copy over the additional segment of code for the quillon blades.

Ensure that the name of the sound font you are editing (shown below in red) matches the name of the sound font’s folder.

Names are case and punctuation sensitive, so double-check that the name of your edited sound font is identical to the one used for that sound font's folder.
